About The Position

The Production Associate sorts salable merchandise from salvage material and prepares goods for sale, supporting the production plant and retail operation. The role evaluates product value, prepares items for retail, maintains production tallies and supplies inventory, and helps keep the retail store stocked. The position also involves identifying items for special sales and auctions, processing unsold items, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and contributing to customer satisfaction and team efforts. Other duties may be assigned. This role is performed in a warehouse environment where temperatures vary and dust may be present. Physical demands include lifting and carrying 30–40 pounds, standing for long periods, frequent bending and other movements, climbing ladders, and traveling across stairs, ramps, and uneven terrain. Mental and sensory abilities include organizing, sorting, categorizing, counting, basic arithmetic, interpreting data, problem solving, communicating with the public, and creating and reading written communications and completing written orders.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
No specific experience required.
No specific skills, knowledge, or licenses required.
Ability to lift and carry 30–40 pounds.
Developed fine motor control to grasp, handle, and manipulate objects with the fingers.
Ability to stand for long periods and frequently bend, kneel, reach, stoop, squat, and push.
Ability to climb ladders and travel across stairs, ramps, and uneven terrain.
Ability to organize, sort, categorize, count, add, and subtract.
Ability to interpret data and solve problems.
Ability to communicate with the public.
Ability to create and read written communications and complete written orders.
