Full Time Production Associate
About The Position
The Production Associate works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility and handles merchandise safely, efficiently, and accurately as it moves into or out of the facility. The role prepares slings or carts for the wash floor, verifies and groups merchandise, and records ruined or damaged items. Work takes place in a warehouse environment with exposure to changing weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. The schedule is shift-based and may include weekends; overtime is required as needed. The position involves moving slings or carriers weighing up to 220 pounds, handling products weighing up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
Requirements
- Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
- Working knowledge of basic math skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet the attendance schedule.
- Ability to move or maneuver slings or carriers weighing up to 220 pounds.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, pull, and press at shoulder level and below the waist.
- Ability to use hands for grasping and other manipulations.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities
- Prepare appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
- Verify merchandise type and quantity on the PUC card and segregate like items together in a sling.
- Identify, count, and total ruined or damaged merchandise and record it on the PUC card.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
