Full Time Production Associate
About The Position
The Production Associate works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility and is responsible for safely, expeditiously, and accurately handling merchandise into and/or out of the facility. The role prepares slings or carts for the wash floor, verifies and sorts merchandise, and records ruined or damaged items. Work is performed in a warehouse environment and follows a shift schedule that may include weekends, with overtime as needed. The position involves frequent standing and walking, handling merchandise, and moving slings, carriers, and products of specified weights. A high school degree or equivalent is preferred.
Requirements
- Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
- Working knowledge of basic math skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet the attendance schedule.
- Ability to move or maneuver slings or carriers weighing up to 220 lbs.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull product weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, pull, and press at shoulder level and below the waist.
- Ability to use hands for grasping and other manipulations.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Prepare appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
- Verify merchandise type and quantity on the PUC card and segregate like items together in a sling.
- Identify, count, and total ruined or damaged merchandise and record it on the PUC card.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
