About The Position

The Production Associate assembles full truck bodies in a hands-on manufacturing role. The work involves interpreting blueprints, work orders, and specifications; cutting wood and metal to precise sizes; assembling and fastening components; operating tools and machines; and maintaining equipment. Associates inspect completed products for quality and defects and follow company safety policies. On-the-job training is provided in basic math, tape measurement, computer skills, hand and power tools, and reading and interpreting blueprints. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience working on truck bodies.
• Construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, work orders, specifications, and safety warnings.
• Cut wood and metal using saws, shears, and cutters to meet required dimensions.
• Assemble parts and fasten them with bolts, screws, rivets, and clips.
• Operate pneumatic and hand tools.
• Set up machines and perform preventive maintenance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and defects.
• Carry out safety and quality checks.
• Follow company safety policies and help maintain a safe workplace.
