About The Position

The Production Associate assists with activities required to safely run corrugated converting equipment, including setup, operation, and cleanup. The position works on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Duties include following safety and quality procedures, keeping the work area orderly, feeding raw materials into converting machines, following production instructions, and recording production statistics in the ERP system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Works well with others in a team setting.
• Dependability on the job.
• Quality- and results-oriented.
• Professional attitude and even-tempered responses in interactions with others.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or graphic instructions.
• Ability to solve problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly standing, walking, communicating, using hands to adjust and manipulate product, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Practice all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Uphold ISO policies and procedures in accordance with the Quality Policy.
• Work from written instructions, diagrams, and production cards.
• Feed converting machines with raw materials.
• Record production statistics in the ERP system.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
