General Labor/Production Associate

About The Position

Join the LION team as a Production Associate manufacturing gloves worn by firefighters and first responders. At this smaller facility, employees perform a variety of production functions and receive training; prior manufacturing experience is not required. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and comprehend English-language instructions.
Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
Ability to perform physical activities including standing, sitting, walking, and bending as needed.
Hearing and vision within normal ranges, with or without correction.
Ability to use proper lifting technique to lift objects up to 30 pounds when required.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of manufacturing experience; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Turn gloves using a power turner.
Assist with glove assembly and liner installation.
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
Operate industrial sewing machines to produce first responder gloves.
Move materials and work throughout the production process.
Support production activities as needed to meet customer demand.
Work as part of a team to meet quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Learn and perform multiple operations as business needs require.
