About The Position

The General Labor position is an hourly, full-time role on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $22.26 per hour. The position is based at 3558 2nd St N, Minneapolis, MN 55412.

The role involves safely operating machinery, following factory orders, inspecting finished products for quality and count, completing quality and administrative documents, and maintaining a clean machine area. The employee may also perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a stable work history.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to perform basic math.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work with a safety-first mindset and actively participate in the safety culture.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Safely operate machinery.
• Read factory orders.
• Use basic shop math, including accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other testing equipment.
• Inspect finished products consistently for quality and count.
• Perform housekeeping, including blowing down machinery, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap.
• Complete quality and administrative document checks accurately to ensure specific directions are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
