About The Position

The Part-Time Production Associate works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. The role is responsible for safely, efficiently, and accurately handling merchandise entering and/or leaving the facility. No experience is required, and paid training is provided. Flexible shifts are available to accommodate school or other commitments. Work takes place in a warehouse setting, with regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. Work follows a shift schedule that may include weekends, and overtime is required as needed. The role requires moving slings or carriers weighing up to 220 pounds and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling products weighing up to 50 pounds. It also involves bending, reaching, pulling, pressing, grasping, standing, and walking for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. A high school degree or equivalent is preferred. Requirements

Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
Working knowledge of basic math skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet the attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

Prepare appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
Verify merchandise type and quantity on PUC cards and segregate like items together in a sling.
Identify, count, and total ruined or damaged merchandise, and record it on the PUC card.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
