About The Position

The Production Associate works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, safely, promptly, and accurately handling merchandise entering and/or leaving the facility. The role prepares daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor, verifies and sorts merchandise, records damaged items, and maintains a safe, clean work environment. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling; no experience is required, and paid training is provided.

Requirements

Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
Working knowledge of basic math skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to meet the attendance schedule.
Ability to move or maneuver slings or carriers weighing up to 220 lbs.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull product weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, reach, pull, and press at shoulder level and below the waist.
Ability to use hands for grasping and other manipulations.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Prepare the appropriate number of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
Verify merchandise type and quantity on the PUC card and segregate like items together in a sling.
Identify, count, and total ruined or damaged merchandise and record it on the PUC card.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
