About The Position

As an essential business, Anomatic produces innovative and sustainable packaging for today’s biggest brands. By leveraging over five decades of manufacturing expertise and employing an extensive technologies portfolio, we design, manufacture, and finish incomparable stock and customized solutions for numerous markets. This position functions as a flexible resource throughout the Anodizing department to ensure daily production. This team member works in all major production positions as needed in Anodizing; they must be flexible and adaptable to meet the quickly changing needs of the operation.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at a fast pace, standing or walking most of the shift
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Good communication, organization and record-keeping skills
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to use both hands to pick-up and manipulate small parts simultaneously
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekends
  • Ability to lift to 35lbs. as needed and stand or walk an entire shift
  • Can successfully work in a team environment and willing to take direction from others
  • Understanding of quality control concepts and processes within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to function well under pressure
  • Ability to differentiate varying shades of colors

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide range of job responsibilities in all production areas as needed; specific examples… Racker Flex, Take-Off Flex, Rack Changer Flex, Box Attendant and Material Handler Flex, Auto Operator Flex, Part Runner Flex, Belt Change Flex
  • Monitors and maintains proper machine operations, clears jams and faults in a safe manner, and supports machine set-ups and changeovers
  • Reads and understands job cards, completes data entry activities accurately, records downtime and maintains records as directed
  • Checks and maintains materials at specified levels
  • Moves finished goods pallets to staging areas and helps Quality weigh and label boxes
  • Provides timely and complete feedback regarding quality or mechanical issues
  • Maintains a clean work environment
  • Consistently meets production and quality standards and works with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in mind
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support production needs
