About The Position

The Production Associate supports daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by assisting with material staging, assembly, packaging, and preparing products for shipment. The role requires keeping an organized, clean, and hazard-free workspace while contributing to consistent production output and team goals. This entry-level position performs routine and repetitive tasks across food production and warehouse departments, including assembly, prep, ovens, beverage, fulfillment, and pack-out. Work is performed in a factory environment that is chilled, wet, and damp, with temperatures of 50°F or below. PPE is provided. The position requires prolonged standing and walking, continuous movement, and frequent physical activity throughout the shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Flexibility may occasionally be required to support production needs, operational issues, or special projects. Base pay is $17.11 USD per hour.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, and speak basic English.
Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and packing.
Ability to follow instructions and read production labels.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work in a chilled, damp environment.
Ability to lift and carry 40–50 lbs.
Ability to work flexible and varied shifts.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to maintain a consistent production pace and perform repetitive tasks.

Nice To Haves

Prior fast-paced food-handling experience is preferred.
Knowledge of safe food handling and knife use is preferred.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is helpful.

Responsibilities

Accurately count and pack products throughout the workday, ensuring orders are complete and correctly filled.
Read and interpret production labels in English, and initial labels for assigned packing and counting responsibilities.
Follow recipes and instructions to prepare, cut, chop, slice, assemble, stock, pack, count, sort, and stage products and raw materials.
Work across departments, including assembly, prep, ovens, beverage, fulfillment, and pack-out, based on business needs.
Maintain production pace to meet team workflow and KPI requirements.
Rack products, debox materials, assemble meals, and break down containers.
Participate in changeovers, packing, sorting, staging, line work, and basic sanitation duties.
Perform repetitive production work, including scooping, portioning, quality checks, and food handling.
Maintain food safety standards in compliance with state, federal, and company policies.
Support waste management programs, including separating garbage, recycling, and green waste.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in accordance with GMP standards.
Follow safety practices, including proper equipment use and storage and maintaining safe working conditions.
Support team-based production goals and maintain consistent workflow.
Perform basic addition and subtraction for counting and quality checks.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality in accordance with company policy.
Perform other duties as needed.
