About The Position

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Production Associate IV to support ceramic tile production. The role sets up and operates advanced glaze line, sorting, and body preparation systems, including applying glaze, sorting and packaging finished tile, and compiling body material. The associate follows ISO operating procedures and specified quality checks, monitors equipment and processes, reports problems to a supervisor, and keeps the work area safe, clean, and organized. Other related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good listening skills.
Ability to read and understand procedures in English.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate the advanced glaze line system, ensuring the correct glaze is applied to ceramic tile.
Monitor and maintain automated sorting systems that reject defective tile and box and label finished product.
Start and operate the spray dryer and/or Raymond Mill to compile body material.
Follow ISO operating procedures and perform quality checks as specified.
Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to a supervisor.
Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
Perform other related duties as required.
