About The Position

Dal-Tile is seeking a Production Associate IV to provide production support by monitoring equipment, setting up and operating glaze line systems, and maintaining automated sorting systems. The role sets up and operates advanced glaze line, sorting, and body preparation systems used to produce ceramic tile.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate advanced glaze line systems, ensuring the correct glaze is applied to ceramic tile.
• Monitor and maintain automated sorting systems that reject defective tile and box and label finished product.
• Start and operate a spray dryer and/or Raymond Mill to compile body material.
• Follow ISO operating procedures and perform quality checks as specified.
• Monitor equipment and processes, and report problems to a supervisor.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Perform other related duties as required.
