About The Position
Production Assistants prepare, package, and label products for display and sale in departments including Bakery, BBQ, Deli, Fish, Gift Center, Ice Cream, Meat, Pizza, Produce, and Salad Bar. This is an entry-level seasonal hourly position; no prior experience is required. The role calls for a strong work ethic, problem-solving, self-motivation, flexibility, honesty, and customer service and communication skills.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
- Safely use tools and equipment used in the daily operation of the department.
- Provide great customer service.
- Have good oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate a great work ethic, problem-solving ability, self-motivation, flexibility, and honesty.
Responsibilities
- Review the production plan.
- Execute production using established guidelines and standards.
- Package and label products for display.
- Follow health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members and offer assistance and support where needed.
- Help improve and maintain store efficiency.
- Represent the store’s S.T.E.W. values in interactions with customers and team members.
