Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass company administered tape measuring skills test
- Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation in English required.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must maintain forklift and/or other required equipment certifications.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods (8+ hours)
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. independently
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and manual handling of materials required
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to tolerate noise, heat, and dust in a manufacturing environment
- Visual acuity to read measuring tools, drawings, and detect quality defects
- Must pass initial and ongoing physical or occupational health screenings (e.g., lifting assessment, vision test, hearing test, etc.)
- Must pass Fitness for Duty test
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist production teams with daily manufacturing activities to meet production goals and deadlines
- Prepare, organize, and stage materials, tools, and components for production jobs
- Support machine operators, welders, fitters, or assemblers as directed
- Track work orders, job travelers, and production paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Perform basic inspections to verify parts meet quality and specification requirements
- Assist with inventory counts, material movement, and labeling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety standards
- Communicate production status, delays, or material shortages to supervisors
- Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations
