About The Position
WFRV is seeking a part-time Production Assistant to join its Production team, working in a fast-paced environment on Green Bay Packers shows. The role supports studio and remote productions by operating cameras, floor directing live broadcasts and other programming, and setting up and maintaining the studio. Weekend and holiday work is included.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Entry-level position.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, and other office equipment.
- Experience with other broadcast-related equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods, use electronic mail, work near others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions and outdoors.
- Ability to lift, set up, and operate equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements and work in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operate studio and remote cameras.
- Floor direct live broadcasts and other programming.
- Set up and maintain the studio for broadcasts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
