About The Position

The Production Assistant is responsible for safely performing apparel decorating duties assigned by management. The role uses job-related knowledge and judgment to complete assignments involving multiple steps that vary in nature and sequence. The employee selects among alternative methods and refers problems that cannot be resolved by adapting or interpreting guides, manuals, or procedures. Quality work and customer service are expected at all times. Duties may vary according to contract specifications and building assignment. Schedules are subject to change.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of and willingness to learn all aspects of the job.
• Ability to interact appropriately with customers and team members.
• Ability to carry out written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to work repetitively.
• Ability to pass organizational screening requirements, including applicable state or federal background screenings.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s).
• Must be able to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and reach above the head.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Drug testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform apparel decorating duties as assigned by management.
• Complete multistep assignments using job-related knowledge and judgment, selecting among alternative methods as appropriate.
• Refer problems that cannot be resolved by adapting or interpreting guides, manuals, or procedures.
• Provide quality work and customer service to the client.
• Learn to operate embroidery and heat press machines.
• Follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment according to customer requirements.
• Assist with lifting equipment and moving furniture when necessary.
