About The Position

The Production Assistant is responsible for safely performing apparel decorating duties as assigned by management. The role uses job-related knowledge and judgment to complete assignments with multiple steps that vary in nature and sequence. The Production Assistant selects among alternative methods and refers problems that cannot be solved by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. Quality work and customer service are expected at all times. Duties may vary depending on contract specifications and building assignment. Schedules are subject to change. The role requires following the Emergency Operations Work Assignment according to customer requirements. Most work takes place indoors, although travel between locations and buildings may be required throughout the year in various weather conditions. The position involves working with cleaning chemicals and meeting physical demands that include bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above the head, and lifting up to 40 pounds regularly; occasionally, the team member may need to lift or move up to 50 pounds and assist with lifting equipment or moving furniture. Requirements

• One year of work experience in a related role is preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of and willingness to learn all aspects of the job.
• Ability to interact appropriately with customers and team members.
• Ability to carry out written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to work repetitively.
• Ability to learn to operate embroidery and heat press machines.
• Must pass applicable organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contracts.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching above the head, and lifting up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds may be required.
• Drug testing is required.
