About The Position

The Production Assembly role places components on a production line according to operations standards and assembles parts using bolts, clips, screws, or other fasteners. The position also participates in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, and Six Sigma, and performs other duties as assigned.

The role requires standing for at least eight hours and performing repetitive physical tasks involving reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and full extension of the upper body. Workers must be able to lift 35 to 75 pounds and carry items a short distance. The position requires attention to detail, a quality-minded approach, flexibility across shifts, departments, and positions, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Requirements

• Work standing for a minimum of eight hours.
• Perform tasks requiring continuous reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and full extension of the upper body.
• Lift 35 to 75 pounds and carry items a short distance.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations with customers, clients, and other associates.
• Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s, using weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Demonstrate organizational, priority and time management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Show attention to detail and be quality-minded.
• Be flexible to work across shifts, departments, and positions.
• Work overtime when needed.
