About The Position

Places components on the production line according to operations standards and assembles components using bolts, clips, screws, or other fastening methods. Participates in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, and Six Sigma. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work standing for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Ability to perform tasks involving continuous reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and full extension of the upper body.
• Ability to lift 35 to 75 pounds and carry items a short distance.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing with 10s and 100s, using weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Organizational, priority and time management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Attention to detail and a quality-minded approach.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, departments, and positions.
• Ability to work overtime if needed.
