About The Position

The Production Assembly position places components on the production line according to operations standards and assembles components using bolts, clips, screws, or other fastening methods. The role also participates in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, and Six Sigma, and performs other duties as assigned.

The work requires standing for at least eight hours and performing repetitive physical tasks such as reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and extending the upper body. The employee must be flexible across shifts, departments, and positions, and may need to work overtime.

Requirements

• Work in a standing position for a minimum of eight hours.
• Perform tasks requiring continuous reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and full extension of the upper body.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations with customers, clients, and associates.
• Perform basic arithmetic, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing with tens and hundreds, using weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Possess organizational, prioritization and time-management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Lift 35 to 75 pounds and carry items a short distance.
• Show attention to detail and a quality-minded approach.
• Be flexible in shifts, departments, and positions.
• Work overtime if needed.

Responsibilities
