About The Position

Places components on the production line according to operations standards and assembles components using bolts, clips, screws, or other fasteners. Participates in continuous improvement activities, including 5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, and Six Sigma. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other associates.
• Perform basic arithmetic, including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing with 10s and 100s, using weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Possess organizational, prioritization and time-management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Lift 35 to 75 pounds and carry items a short distance.
• Work standing for at least 8 hours.
• Perform tasks involving continuous reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning, bending, and full extension of the upper body.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a quality-minded approach.
• Be flexible to work different shifts, departments, and positions.
• Be able to work overtime if needed.
