About The Position

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is hiring a full-time Production Assembly Helper to work at its Waggaman, Louisiana location. The role involves assembling materials according to work orders and submitting completed orders to shipping. The company manufactures and distributes pipe hangers and supports for commercial and industrial applications.

Requirements

• Know the products and part numbers.
• Have exceptional attention to detail.
• Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an eight-hour shift.
• Have a good working knowledge of figures and numbers.
• Be able to work quickly and efficiently.
• Be able to lift and carry objects weighing over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Obtain the work copy and match it with the original order.
• Assemble products accurately and efficiently according to the work order.
• Submit completed work orders to the warehouse for shipment.
• Assist with landscaping and grass cutting.
• Notify managers about non-conformities and facility or equipment repair needs.
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
