About The Position

The Production Assembler works on the Mission team in Mission, Texas, assembling parts into complex units according to work instructions and established procedures. The role includes inspecting products, documenting work, rejecting or reworking defective components, protecting sub-assemblies from damage, and following quality and safety standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The assembler also supports other positions in the area, participates in cross-training, maintains a clean and safe work area, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as an assembler.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, drawings, and directions.
• Good manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read work instructions and follow established procedures.
• Align materials and assemble parts to build complex units.
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects according to work instructions.
• Complete required reports.
• Reject components that do not meet quality criteria.
• Place sub-assembly packs separately in the pallet fixture to prevent damage.
• Rework defective products as instructed, including removing excess plastic with heat guns, pliers, utility knives, or other specified tools.
• Perform work according to quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Support other positions in the area and participate in cross-training activities.
• Ensure the use of personal protective equipment.
• Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
