About The Position

The Associate Assembler performs assembly operations on a variety of medical products by following written and verbal instructions. The role involves inspecting assemblies, operating packaging devices, and assembling, labeling, and packaging sterile and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies according to established procedures. The position also requires completing associated paperwork, following clean room gowning requirements, and performing preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year of work experience, preferably in assembly and packaging operations.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work at established production rates.
• Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Must be able to work all scheduled overtime.
• Basic English speaking, comprehension, and reading ability.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
• Must be able to stand 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Check work for proper assembly, using a microscope when needed to ensure specifications are met.
• Set up and operate various packaging devices.
• Follow all clean room gowning requirements and use required PPE.
• Assemble, label, and package sterile and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies according to established procedures.
• Accurately complete required paperwork, including paperwork associated with printed labels.
• Print labels as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines as required.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
