About The Position

The Production Assembler builds digital security seals and devices at the company’s new facility in Novi, Michigan. Using standard work instructions, the assembler builds, inspects, and packages finished products to meet daily quality and output targets in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to building every unit correctly the first time.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and visual work instructions in English.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise small-part assembly.
Basic computer and tablet literacy, including ability to use ERP-linked devices.
Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately and consistently throughout a full shift.
Willingness and ability to follow ESD procedures when handling electronic components; training is provided.

Nice To Haves

Prior assembly or manufacturing production experience.
Experience handling PCBAs or ESD-sensitive electronic components.

Responsibilities

Assemble digital security seals and devices according to standardized work instructions and quality requirements.
Handle PCBAs and ESD-sensitive components using appropriate electrostatic discharge procedures.
Perform in-process inspections and functional checks at the in-line inspection station; identify, flag, and set aside nonconforming units.
Use tablets and computers linked to the ERP system to sign into jobs, report scrap, and maintain critical product traceability.
Meet daily production output and first-pass quality targets.
Package and label finished products and prepare them for transfer or shipment.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety and PPE requirements.
Stop work and report product, fixture, or equipment issues to the Manufacturing Engineer.
Share floor-level observations and continuous improvement ideas.
Cross-train across multiple products and stations as the production line grows.
