About The Position

We are hiring assemblers to build wire harnesses and cable assemblies for use in national defense applications. Pay commensurate with professional and/or manufacturing experience, which does not have to be in our industry. Great job for starting a career or for a seasoned professional looking to make a change. Great schedule, benefits, friendly coworkers, clean and quiet production floor with individual workbench. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. M-F. At Qualastat: Our products are relied upon to keep the warfighter safe and protect the interests of our country. Managers don't yell at or place undue stress on employees but, rather, patiently guide the development and productivity of each individual. Coarse language is prohibited, and employees treat each other with respect. We do not run a mass-production, assembly line, and activities are often varied.

Requirements

Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Detail oriented with an eye for quality work
Good communication skills (English)
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
High school diploma

Responsibilities

Assemble components using fine motor skills while following work procedures written in English.
Crimping, stripping wires and cable, soldering, pinning connectors, using various hand and automated tooling.
Be quality minded.
Keep records of production quantities and time.
