About The Position

The Production Assembler works under close supervision and follows written procedures to assemble knee braces and related products. The role ensures product quality and conformance to order specifications while following established guidelines, work instructions, and company policies. It also includes maintaining a clean and safe work area and performing a range of manufacturing and assembly tasks. The position is located in Vista, California, and is offered on a contract-to-permanent basis. The listed shifts are 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 12:30 PM–9:00 PM, with a start date of October 26 or sooner. The pay rate is $18.90 per hour.

Requirements

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, assembly drawings, and bills of materials.
Strong communication and organizational skills, including the ability to communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Understanding of basic assembly techniques and approaches.

Responsibilities

Use power tools, hand tools, and universal fixtures to assemble knee braces and related medical products.
Sand surfaces to prepare them for painting.
Prepare and mix paint.
Cut materials according to established guidelines.
Participate in manufacturing audits and the 5S program.
Inform a supervisor or lead about work-related problems.
Work in a team-oriented environment.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Be willing to work overtime and Saturdays.
