About The Position

As an integral member of the production team, the Production Assembler performs manual labor along the production line. The role involves operating machinery and troubleshooting production issues while ensuring safe operations and adherence to quality standards. The position requires standing for extended periods and continuously performing production-related activities to maintain workflow and meet production targets.

Requirements

• Ability to operate production-line machinery, tools, and computer systems.
• Ability to perform equipment changeovers and operate mobile equipment.
• Ability to follow assembly instructions, processes, procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and lock out machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to multitask, organize work, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform production-related activities continuously.

Responsibilities

• Operate production-line machinery, tools, and computer systems to support workflow and productivity.
• Perform equipment changeovers between production setups while minimizing downtime.
• Operate mobile equipment to support roll-time optimization and production requirements.
• Clean and maintain the work area, tools, and equipment.
• Turn off and lock out machinery and equipment when not in use, following safety protocols.
• Follow assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to produce quality products.
• Report quality, process, equipment, and material issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Perform work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
• Provide hands-on job-function training to colleagues as required.
• Use hand tools safely and follow applicable safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Manage multiple tasks, organize work, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow processes and instructions to complete work according to established standards.
