About The Position

AMETEK AMC is hiring a Production Assembler I to assemble medical device components at its Jackson, Minnesota facility. The work takes place in a clean, safe, temperature-controlled factory environment and may be performed standing or seated. The company provides training and considers applicants with or without prior experience. This is a full-time, second-shift position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, including shop packets, standard work instructions, and visual aids.
Ability to use basic math and measuring devices.
Good time management skills to work at a steady pace and execute work orders and demands.
Ability to handle basic tools.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Good manual dexterity is helpful.

Responsibilities

Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
Conduct quality control checks.
Clean and maintain the work area, equipment, and tools.
Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Document work by completing production and quality forms.
