About The Position

Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly to produce small parts and components that support the organization's manufacturing output. You will work closely with production leads and quality teams to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures. This is an onsite role on 2nd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am).

Requirements

• Effective communication skills and ability to read English and understand processes
• 6 months – 2 years of relevant experience
• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery
• Basic math skills and ability to read/interprete company documents, safety rules, and operating/manufacturing instructions
• Ability to problem-solve using existing procedures

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints
• Prior experience with hand tools

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components per instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm correct sequence of operations
• Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
• Adjust, bend, align and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies using heating elements or ovens and perform in-process testing
• Demonstrate and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights, weekends, variable schedules or additional hours as necessary
• Complete other assigned tasks to meet production needs
