About The Position

This is a full-time, onsite position in Simi Valley, CA, for a Production Assembler 1. The role involves assembling small mechanical and electromechanical components to ensure production continuity and adherence to quality and safety standards. The assembler will collaborate with the production team and supervisors on a 1st shift schedule (Monday-Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 pm). The contributions of this role are crucial for throughput, product reliability, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for small parts.
• Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery.
• Basic math skills and ability to read/interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, and procedures.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts per instructions and procedures.
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm sequence of operations.
• Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures.
• Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts.
• Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxies using heating elements or ovens and perform in-process testing.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Support occasional variable schedules, nights, weekends, or additional hours as needed.
