About The Position

You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly work that ensures components meet quality and safety standards. You will support production stakeholders on a 1st shift, onsite schedule (M–F, 5:00am–1:30pm), delivering consistent throughput and accurate assembly under defined procedures. Your work directly impacts output reliability and downstream manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of relevant assembly experience
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
• Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
• Basic math skills and ability to read/interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
• Ability to follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate effectively

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational training or apprenticeship is helpful
• Attention to detail
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical/electromechanical assembly of small parts and components per instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematics to confirm assembly sequence
• Position and handle very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
• Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxies and perform in-process testing
• Follow safety policies and demonstrate consistent, punctual attendance
• Work variable schedules as needed, including potential nights, weekends, or additional hours
