About The Position

Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly to keep production on schedule and meet quality standards. You will work closely with the production team and inspectors to follow shop travelers, schematics, and safety procedures. This is an onsite role on the 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:30pm–2:00am / 4/10 schedule).

Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant assembly experience
• Ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints and company documents (safety rules, operating instructions)
• Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
• Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery
• Basic mathematics and problem-solving using existing procedures
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field
• Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and processes

Responsibilities

• Perform routine assembly of small parts/components following detailed instructions and procedures
• Review shop traveler/route cards and uncomplicated schematic drawings to confirm correct operation sequence
• Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
• Adjust, bend, align and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
• Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxies using heaters or ovens and perform in-process testing
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and maintain consistent, punctual attendance
• Support variable schedules, potential nights/weekends, and additional hours as necessary
