About The Position

This is a full-time Production Assembler I position with a 4/10 schedule (Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm). The role involves performing routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components according to instructions and procedures. The assembler will work onsite with the production team, follow defined procedures to meet schedule and quality targets, and support manufacturing and operations stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience at a well-established corporation with potential for extended or permanent employment.

Requirements

1–2 years of relevant experience
Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
Basic mathematics competency and ability to read/interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, and procedures
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Capacity to identify issues and address them; willingness and ability to learn new tasks

Responsibilities

Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components per instructions and procedures
Review shop traveler route cards or uncomplicated schematics to confirm correct sequence of operations
Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures; adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires
Bond or seal parts/assemblies with epoxies and use ovens or direct heating; perform in-process testing
Follow and demonstrate safety policies and procedures
Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; be available for variable schedules including nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary
