About The Position

Performs repetitive workstation or line assembly operations and assembles units to completion. The role involves using hand or power tools and operating manufacturing equipment to assemble and finish products. The position is based in Andover, Kansas, is full-time, and is on the first shift.

Requirements

• High school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to do heavy lifting.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Full range of physical motion throughout the torso.
• Ability to stand for extended periods with periodic breaks.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and mechanical devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly functions using hand or power tools.
• Operate a press brake to assemble sheets.
• Operate an automatic fastener machine to secure lining to side walls.
• Operate an index machine.
• Perform carpenter-related work.
• Operate stationary and moving overhead cranes.
• Install lights and wiring.
• Operate a forklift as required.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
• Perform related duties as directed by supervision.
