Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1 You will help the team build and test small mechanical and electromechanical components, delivering precise assemblies that support manufacturing operations. You will work onsite on the 1st shift (M–F, 5:00am–1:30pm), reporting to production leads and collaborating with quality and process teams to meet schedule and safety expectations.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to read basic technical drawings and interpret uncomplicated schematic drawings
  • Basic computer skills and basic reading ability
  • Clean record required for ATF-related clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
  • Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components following the organization's instructions and procedures
  • Review shop traveler route cards or simple schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operations
  • Position very small parts (ceramic board, crystals, fine pins, solder particles, etc.) under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
  • Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
  • Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens and perform in-process testing
  • Demonstrate and follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; be available for occasional nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours as necessary
  • Complete other assigned production responsibilities as needed
