About The Position

Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers. Gathers information to prepare training programs, prepares training materials, develops course content, selects training methods, and coordinates development of training aids. Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating training effectiveness. May use trainers with technical expertise. Continuously revises lesson plans to address new training requirements and keep technical information up to date.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of exempt experience, or a master's degree and 1 year of exempt experience.
Equivalent education options include graduating from the NNS Apprentice School; having a high school education and 5 years of combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or other relevant non-exempt experience; or graduating from Navy Nuclear Power School.
Three years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade, and/or military experience may be used in place of the required exempt experience, in addition to the education requirement.
