About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Product Support Supply Chain Manager to support the team in Victorville, California. Duties will include inventory management of aircraft kitted and rotatable parts, consumables and emergent parts, toolroom management, facilities management and plant and equipment maintenance, technical management of external supply chain and coordination with third party vendors to support site requirements. The role involves developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, setting operational goals, acquiring resources, providing technical management of suppliers, and leading process improvements. The position requires developing and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners, and direct reports, as well as providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. The manager will also participate in equipment make/buy decisions, source selection, and provide technical oversight of suppliers, while managing, developing, and motivating employees.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
3+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning
Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
