About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Product Support Supply Chain Manager to support the team in Victorville, California. This role involves managing inventory of aircraft parts, consumables, and emergent parts, as well as overseeing the toolroom, facilities, and plant equipment maintenance. The position also includes technical management of the external supply chain and coordination with third-party vendors. The manager will develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies, set operational goals, acquire resources, manage suppliers, and lead process improvements. Building and maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners is crucial. The role requires providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, participating in make/buy decisions, and providing technical oversight of suppliers. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and motivating employees.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
  • 3+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning
  • Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
