About The Position

The Product Support Sales Rep – EPG actively seeks new customers and markets for Electrical Power Generation (EPG) product support opportunities. The role influences the sale of parts and service to existing and prospective customers within the EPG division and serves as a consultant and advisor in support of customers’ operational needs. Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

Requirements

Outside sales experience.
Strong technical and parts-related knowledge.
Ability to drive and a valid driver’s license.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2–4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience in parts, service, or another related field.
Familiarity with customer applications and operational needs in the EPG market.
Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Establish professional, positive working relationships with customers.
Maintain open communication and strong working relationships with Sales, Service, and Parts personnel.
Actively seek new customers and markets for product support opportunities within applicable market segments.
Inspect and accurately prepare repair quotes and present them to customers.
Stay aware of current business status and changes in the assigned territory.
Remain current on product knowledge and competitive product lines.
Manage time effectively and plan customer calls, including objectives, results, and required follow-up.
Travel for training and/or to assist at other locations.
