We are looking for a Product Stewardship Manager to support global product safety, regulatory compliance, chemical registration, classification, labeling, packaging, SDS management, and product risk assessment. This role is ideal for someone who understands chemical regulations, enjoys solving technical compliance challenges, and can communicate complex information clearly to internal teams, customers, inspectors, and regulators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, toxicology, environmental science, public health, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience with product stewardship, chemical regulatory compliance, product safety, or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of global chemical registration requirements and product safety regulations.
  • Understanding of chemical hazard properties, risk assessment, and risk communication.
  • Working knowledge of GHS/CLP requirements across global jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical and regulatory information clearly.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage compliance-sensitive documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Training or certification in risk assessment methodology.
  • Experience with consumer product, cosmetic, personal care, food packaging, or food contact regulations.
  • Knowledge of toxicology concepts, testing protocols, mechanisms, and terminology.
  • Experience with REACh regulatory schemes, including EU, Turkey, Korea, or related global programs.
  • Experience with 3E Generate and 3E Protect SDS software.
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles, life cycle assessment, or Responsible Care practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assess environmental, health, and safety risks across the product lifecycle.
  • Support global chemical registration for new and existing products.
  • Maintain and evaluate health, ecological toxicity, and hazard data.
  • Oversee SDS authoring, document management, classification, labeling, and packaging requirements.
  • Lead product risk assessments and recommend actions to reduce risk and support compliance.
  • Partner with regulatory, technical, sales, marketing, operations, and business teams.
  • Respond to product safety, regulatory, and compliance questions from customers and stakeholders.
  • Support product stewardship communications, training, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
