About The Position

The Campaign + Stewardship Manager plays a critical role in advancing CSB’s fundraising efforts by supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of the organization’s comprehensive campaign while also managing the stewardship and donor recognition program. This position helps translate campaign priorities into actionable strategies, ensures strong coordination across the development team and the organization, and provides data-driven insights that support fundraising progress and decision-making. The position also provides leadership for organization-wide donor stewardship initiatives by supporting the development and leading the implementation and execution of a comprehensive stewardship and donor recognition strategy designed to strengthen relationships and encourage sustained philanthropic investment at all giving levels. This role requires a highly organized professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working with staff, board members, and community stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in fundraising, campaign management, donor stewardship, development operations, or nonprofit advancement.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and data reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly for preparing reports and board materials.
  • Experience in nonprofit organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in comprehensive campaign planning or fundraising strategy, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of CSB’s overall campaign plan, in alignment with organizational priorities and fundraising goals.
  • Work with the Chief Development Officer to develop implementation plans for campaign strategies, including cases for support, volunteer structure, milestones, campaign dashboards, pipeline reports, and forecasting tools.
  • Work with leadership to translate campaign goals into actionable plans and benchmarks for the Development team.
  • Track and monitor campaign progress, identifying opportunities and risks related to campaign performance and fundraising outcomes to inform strategy, planning, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate internal campaign planning meetings, implementation discussions, and progress reviews with Development staff and leadership.
  • Prepare campaign updates and reports for senior leadership and the Board of Trustees.
  • Develop and maintain campaign work plans, timelines, milestones, and accountability measures to ensure campaign objectives remain on schedule.
  • Coordinate campaign committees, volunteers, consultants, and internal staff to support campaign implementation and alignment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tracking of campaign commitments, gifts, and progress toward campaign goals.
  • Serve as an internal resource on campaign data and reporting within the organization’s CRM system, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Partner with Development Operations and Data + Evaluation staff to enhance reporting tools, campaign tracking systems, and workflow processes.
  • Serve as a leader in creating and implementing organization-wide stewardship policies and procedures with emphasis on acknowledgments, recognition, and impact reporting to enhance engagement and strengthen donor relationships.
  • Research, draft, and edit accurate and compelling donor correspondence, narrative reports, and donor summaries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen donor relationships, encourage continued and increased giving, and identify meaningful stewardship opportunities.
  • Create gift acknowledgments and other stewardship-related correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain organization-wide inventory of philanthropic naming opportunities for facilities, programs, and other items while ensuring the approval process complies with organization policy and naming requirements.
  • Share responsibility for managing the donor database by maintaining data integrity, reporting, and measuring outcomes of initiatives and programs.
