About The Position

Ricart Express Newark is seeking energetic, motivated individuals to join its sales team as Product Specialists. The role involves helping customers select vehicles and supporting them through the vehicle-purchase process. Automotive experience is not required; training is provided. The position offers an opportunity to build skills and experience in automotive sales.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company motor vehicle report standards.
• High school education or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience working in hospitality, retail, restaurants, food service, or a similar industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with tablets, PCs, and smartphones.
• Ability to meet new customers and build long-term relationships.
• Ability to multitask among answering phones, working with employees, and assisting customers.
• Schedule flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming sales calls and respond to questions using trained responses; make outgoing calls.
• Greet customers, vendors, and employees entering the building.
• Organize and handle vehicle presentation and deliveries.
• Check insurance and identification, and update systems.
• Follow instructions and processes using appropriate paperwork and digital assets.
• Assist customers with vehicle selection, test drives, and trade assessments.
• Turn customers over to a team leader (sales supervisor) to present financial or cash options.
• Negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and monthly payments to help customers purchase a vehicle.
• Perform additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
