About The Position

Ricart Express Newark is seeking energetic, motivated individuals to join its sales team as Product Specialists. The role helps customers find suitable vehicles and supports their path through the vehicle-selection and purchase process. Automotive experience is not required; training is provided. The position offers the opportunity to build skills and experience in automotive sales.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company motor vehicle report standards.
• High school education or equivalent.
• One to three years of experience in hospitality, retail, restaurant, food service, or a similar industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with tablets, PCs, and smartphones.
• Ability to meet new customers and build long-term relationships.
• Ability to multitask while answering phones, working with employees, and assisting customers.
• Schedule flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Competitive, outgoing, and motivated approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming sales calls using trained responses and make outgoing phone calls.
• Greet customers, vendors, and employees as they enter the building.
• Organize and handle vehicle presentation and deliveries.
• Check insurance and identification, and update systems.
• Follow instructions and processes using appropriate paperwork and digital assets.
• Assist customers with vehicle selection, test drives, trade assessments, and related sales activities.
• Turn customers over to the team leader (sales supervisor) to present financial or cash options.
• Negotiate pricing, trade-in values, and monthly payments for customer vehicle purchases.
• Perform additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
