Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years Pharmaceutical Sales Experience
  • A proven track record of sales delivery and drive for superior results.
  • Experience in sales/education discussions with specialists would be an asset.
  • Strong digital marketing aptitude to support day to day activities.
  • Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills and innovative mindset with the capability to analyse and adapt to changing needs of the market.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing Territory field budget
  • Strong ability to identify and understand the patient journey and HCP adoption journey.
  • An optimistic can-do mindset with a natural ability to drive ownership and accountability.
  • Experience using omni-channel tools in moving HCP perceptions and attitudes.
  • Strong technical skills including CRM system including all the associated omnichannel assets and functionality to optimise each customer experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (both with customers and colleagues).
  • Ability to build strong relationships and engagement.
  • A proven team player who works collaboratively and is effective working as part of a cross functional team, leveraging resources to deliver business objectives and optimal outcomes for patients.
  • Local and national travel could be required.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive and effective integrated cross-functional (i.e. sales, medical etc.) territory business commercial plan aimed at achieving and exceeding annual goals by demonstrating strong commercial leadership.
  • Understand how to leverage systems and wider omni-channel options to apply the full suite of the Company’s capabilities.
  • Personalize and engage with customers in both face-to-face and virtual environments, enabling excellent customer experience and customers’ confidence to support appropriate medication use for appropriate patients within its approved indications.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and create value for the HCP, by better understanding the patient journey and respective customers’ needs.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the safe, appropriate, and effective use of Idorsia’s products or treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Effectively collaborate and engage in cross-functional working at regional level to continually endorse a culture of collaboration and support best practices sharing.
  • Serve as a resource/consultant to customers and staff regarding access to therapy, product, and guidelines within its approved indications.
  • Co-ordinate other learning activities within the territory based on HCP needs and ensure timely follow-up on attendees to gather feedback.
  • Provide feedback and collaboration with sales colleagues, commercial leadership, marketing, and other internal departments about changing environment and results.
  • Communicate territory activity and administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management.
  • Manage efforts within the assigned promotional budget.
  • Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
  • Stay up to date with requirements of the code of practice and any other relevant role legislation.
  • Complete all relevant training courses according to timelines set out by the company.
  • Adhere to all industry code expectations and practices. If the individual is ever unsure about the rules associated with a specific activity, they are expected to seek clarification from the relevant compliance team within the company.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to the industry code of practice and all regulatory/ compliance/ legal requirements.
  • Promote the portfolio within the approved regulatory Health Canada labelling, in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner that is consistent with Canadian industry specific and corporate legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure to report safety information such as Adverse Events, Special Reporting Situations and Product Quality Complaints according to internal procedures.
