About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Product Specialist for its New York, NY location. Duties: Support the lifecycle strategy from acquisition through early client engagement and implement strategies to optimize portfolio performance. Assess relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to help define strategies to improve client experience and portfolio growth. Advise and provide insight and recommendations for innovative and strategic product development, product targeting, and segmentation strategies. Help to facilitate aspects of the product development life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field. Provide subject matter expertise and execution for core marketing disciplines such as product development, price, promotions, platform and pillars, launching, and marketing to improve client experience and portfolio growth. Help guide product financial performance by identifying opportunities and gaps and assisting with the development of business strategies. Work with Operations and Technology teams to process design and vendor procurement as well as communicate business plans on marketplace approach. Participate in budgeting and planning for strategic priorities and initiatives. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (will accept 3-year or 4-year U.S. or foreign degree) in Engineering (any), Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation coordinating the promotion of foreign exchange products to facilitate client investments in global markets.
  • Six (6) years of experience must include: Supporting client engagement and revenue generation within the Asset Managers, Asset Owners, and Banks/Intermediaries sectors
  • Performing market awareness factors in the Investor Services FX segment
  • Utilizing Dodd-Frank and EMIR regulations to directly or indirectly drive Foreign Exchange priorities
  • Supporting cash, custody, or fund administration
  • Contributing to service model design in partnership with Operations and Technology teams to create effective and scalable service models
  • Functional experience in product management, specialist sales, or product development.
