About The Position

In this Product Specialist sales role, you will be responsible for driving Agilent Technologies’ Molecular/UV-Vis/FTIR and Atomic Spectroscopy (focused on Atomic Absorption/MP-AES/ICP-OES) solutions into client accounts. You will work both independently and in a team with Account Managers and Application Engineers, carry quota and be compensated for all high performance sales in the specified geography. You will be expected to create and develop opportunities, as well as successful strategies and tactics to sell complex solutions. You will be one of an elite team of specialists driving Agilent's success in this competitive marketplace.

Requirements

  • Baccalauréat, maîtrise ou doctorat en biologie, en chimie, en biochimie ou dans un domaine connexe
  • Au moins deux ans d’expérience en vente ou dans un domaine scientifique connexe
  • Compétences en matière de vente stratégique avec quatre années ou plus d’expérience pertinente en rapport avec l’industrie, l’université ou l’expérience de la vente
  • Solides connaissances pratiques et théoriques des applications et des flux de travail en spectroscopie moléculaire et atomique
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
  • Solides compétences en matière de présentation
  • Compétences interpersonnelles exceptionnelles
  • Aise dans la conduite d’activités personnelles à haute intensité pour atteindre les objectifs de vente stimulants
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe dans un environnement à matrice complexe
  • Bilinguisme, français et anglais, un atout
  • 2+ years sales experience or related scientific field experience
  • Strategic Selling Skills with four or more years of related industry, academic or sales experience
  • Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of Molecular and Atomic Spectroscopy applications and workflows
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable driving personal activity with high intensity to meet objective, aggressive sales targets
  • Ability to work in a team in a complex matrix environment
  • Bilingual in French and English an asset

  • Provide market and product feedback to R&D
  • Use CRM and other tools as required to drive business
  • Serve on field advisory teams, helping develop next generation products using the voice of the customer
