Cast & Crew•New York, NY
•$100,000 - $125,000

About The Position

Cast & Crew is seeking a Product Solutionist to provide technical product expertise throughout the sales cycle across film, television, and live entertainment. The role combines product knowledge with client-facing sales support: leading discovery, delivering tailored demonstrations, answering technical questions, and advising existing clients on how to get more value from their current products. The Product Solutionist works with Account Executives focused on Live Entertainment and Film & TV, serving as a technical subject matter expert from initial meeting through close and, where appropriate, beyond. The position covers the New York and New Jersey markets and requires regular presence at client locations, production offices, and industry events. The role also conveys customer insights to Product and Marketing teams and stays current on the product roadmap, competitive landscape, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, technical account management, or a client-facing implementation role; ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Track record of running product demonstrations, managing complex RFP responses, and influencing deals through technical credibility.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Ability to demonstrate SaaS platforms live to clients and executives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging for end users and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Reliable access to client locations across NYC, Jersey City, and surrounding areas.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during active production periods as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Deep knowledge of Cast & Crew’s product ecosystem or a directly comparable SaaS platform in entertainment payroll, production finance, or digital onboarding.
  • Experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical account management role within a SaaS environment.
  • Experience with entertainment industry payroll, production finance, digital onboarding, or employer-of-record services.
  • Familiarity with the entertainment industry, including how film, television, and live productions are staffed, budgeted, and run.
  • Based in or closely connected to the New York/New Jersey metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Account Executives throughout the revenue cycle, including discovery, demonstrations, proposals, objection handling, and closing.
  • Lead tailored product demonstrations that connect Cast & Crew’s capabilities to each prospect’s operational needs and pain points.
  • Conduct consultative discovery sessions to understand client workflows, identify unmet needs, and develop recommendations based on actual product capabilities.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accurate content that supports deal progress.
  • Advise existing clients by identifying expansion opportunities, reinforcing product adoption, and surfacing product gaps to the business.
  • Share structured voice-of-the-customer insights with Product and Marketing teams to inform roadmap priorities and go-to-market positioning.
  • Represent Cast & Crew at industry events, trade shows, and client engagements across the New York and New Jersey market.
  • Stay current on competitive dynamics, product roadmap developments, and industry trends, and provide product expertise to the sales team.
