About The Position
Applied Materials' VSU BU Implant is searching for an intern to join our Quality Group in Spring 2027. This position will involve supporting the processing of defective material, learning the SAP Integrated Business system, and having opportunities to visit local suppliers with the Quality team. The intern will participate on cross-functional teams to solve problems, be exposed to engineering groups, and participate in small projects. There may also be an opportunity to tour a semiconductor fab if time permits.
Requirements
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
- Student must be in good academic standing at their university
- Student should have strong interpersonal skills and feel comfortable being inquisitive and asking people questions
- Organization, thirst for problem solving and communication skills a must
Responsibilities
- Support processing of defective material
- Learning of SAP Integrated Business system
- Visit local suppliers with our Quality team
- Participate on cross functional teams in solving problems

- Tour a Semi-conductor fab (if time permits)
